Great Conjunction is a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Youngstown, OH. Co-founders John and Joe Thornton saw the need for a spiritual community and learning center and wanted to bring people together in a great conjunction, thus Great Conjunction Spiritual Center was born.
Their purpose is to bring together differing philosophies and spiritual practices for the purpose of education, understanding, and common ground.
To achieve this goal, they offer classes and workshops on topics including meditation, mindfullness, past life regression, intuition, and Reiki. The monthly lecture series allows people to explore diverse and challenging subjects in a comfortable environment. Throughout each year, they host expos offering a variety of metaphysical services including psychic readings, intuitive guidance, aura photography, and more. Together these programs highlight diverse beliefs, world views, and spiritual practices.
Great Conjunction offers classes including yoga, meditation, spiritual awareness, Reiki, and upon many other subjects. Through Great Conjunction, you may experience a variety of workshops, such as how to find balance in our ever-changing and chaotic world, achieving your goals with the Law of Attraction, recovering from spiritual abuse, and developing your innate psychic abilities.
Some of the presenters for the monthly lecture series include such renowned speakers as Nobel nominee and author Pat Montandon, author and Dancing Mindfullness creator Dr. Jamie Marich, Pittsburgh’s premier medium Rev. Marjorie Rivera, founder of the Brigger Center for Reiki Education Mary Jane Brigger, Dr. Ted Cibek, and shamanic practitioner Regina Rivers.
With each program the Great Conjunction community grows as does their commitment to bring new voices and spiritual perspectives to the area.
